Have I ever hit “reblog” so fast? No.

I read this last year. In the world of a book, Buzz Windrip was also famous for “writing” a book on his life/philosophy, which was actually ghost-written by one of his closest aides. He uses the 1935 equivalent of radio shock-jocks to stir up his base, tries to keep his political opposition under house arrest, demonizes Mexico, and tricks the Evangelical movement into believing he’s a savior. He turns his most devout supporters into a loyal militia. Corruption abounds. There’s more. It’s an eerie read for this moment in history, but one definitely worth the time.
